Message to INFODIO readers: investigative journalism, which is what this site does, takes lots of time. Visiting media looking for a quick run down on Venezuela's gargantuan corruption, have the decency to at least cite the source when plagiarising this site's content without attribution (exhibit Reuters here and here, exhibit Bloomberg here, exhibit OCCRP here). To all readers, do the right thing, the honest thing: support independent investigative journalism, help us expose rampant corruption. Note added 28/06/2021: impostors are using this site's former editor's full name, and a fake email address (alek.boyd.arregui@gmail.com) to send copyright infringement claims / take down requests to web hosting companies (exhibit Hostgator). The attempt is yet another effort paid by corrupt thugs to erase information about their criminal activities. Infodio.com has no issues with other websites / journalists using / posting information published here, so long as the source is properly cited.

UPDATED: As DoJ indicts Venezuelan Boligarchs threats / censorship ensue

More leaks suggest DoJ is preparing another set of indictments / charges against Venezuelan Boligarchs. This $4 billion money laudering gig will feature Charles Henry de Beaumont, his boss at Compagnie Bancaire Helvetique Joseph Benhamou; Pedro Binnagia, Pablo Custer and Dieter Stäubli at EFG Bank; and a yet-to-be-revealed banker Stephen Coleman and Peter Weinzierl at Meinl Bank. On the Venezuelan side of things there are many actors involved, some known, others not so much: Luis and Ignacio Oberto, Raul Gorrin, Gustavo Perdomo, Juan Domingo Cordero, Rafael Ramirez, Asdrubal Chavez, Eulogio del Pino, Victor Aular, Nervis Villalobos, Danilo Diazgranados and proxy Juan Andres Wallis, ponzi banker Victor Vargas, and, of course, Derwick Associates fellas.

Banca Credinvest shareholders.

This site has done its bit to expose all of the above, and will continue doing so in earnest. That's not to the Boligarchs' liking, and so some are looking to "make peace" with us, while others, like the one below, are sending threats to allegedly destroy my reputation with targeted Google ads.

Google's blogging platform Blogger, decided to delete a blog I had created to expose some of the connections of Diosdado Cabello with Majed Khalil and his brothers. Readers of this site perhaps remember the break in episode of November 2014, and the vicious though totally spurious online defamation campaign that followed. Following break in and threats to my family, Google flat out refused to delete some blogs created with fake information about me and my family. I recall having argued that posting evidently false information about innocent victims was indeed harassment. It is evident that some blogs are more equal than others, when it comes to Google's harassment filters.

The arguments below reiterate defamatory claims made then, which suggests same thugs could be behind this new threat.

As law enforcement agencies and prosecutors around the world show an increased interest in Venezuela's rampant corruption and the criminal elements that thrive in it, it is a given that some might resort to these type of threats.

Whether is threats of criminal action by bankers, inane lawyers, or otherwise, our resolve to expose these thugs is and will remain steadfast.

Te refieres a comprar mi silencio?

Hola Alek.
